Sunday, May 13, 2007. Exp 85F. Sun with cloud.
Being Sunday it was a not so normal breakfast morning, Pancakes were the order for today. After breakfast we headed to Fort Worth Stockyards. The older area of the city which is a bit of a tourist attraction with shops, cafes etc. I tried on a few pairs of cowboy boots, an one pair took my fancy they had flashing lights set in to the sides of the boots. Around 10.30 they drive a herd of Texas Longhorns through the streets.
After Lunch we had a bit of culture with a visit to the Kimbell Art Museum. Its one one of the art collections that Sister Wendy featured in her series on Art Galleries in North America. Also it has a Victoria connection with the Director being one of the previous directors of the National Gallery, Victoria.
Tonight I am being left home to baby sit, while my owner and Deb head out to a theatre production.
