I was a special gift to my owner, on Valentines Day 1996 from someone very special. We are embarking on a bit of travel, so you will be able to follow our adventures and tales, as I keep this sort of diary for my owner. You could say this is my version of Chaucer's Canterbury Tales. Something to keep you amused while we are on our journey. Please add comments, we like to hear back from you.

Montreal, Day 2

Friday, June 1, 2007, Overcast, showers 20C.
Bonjour mon ami. Today I visited a church for the first time in our travels, I thought it must have been a very old persons birthday with all the candles that were alight there, my owner then explained that they were not birthday candles.
La basilique Notre-Dame de Montreal, is a masterpierce of Gothic Revival architecture, located in Vieux-Montreal (Link to Notre-Dame Spectacular Light Show Built between 1824 and 1829, it has witnessed many important events, and visited by many for its rich ornate interior and impressive collection of sacred art works.

Later in the early evening we went to a performance of the new Cirque du Soleil travelling show Kooza. As Montreal is the home base for Cirque du Soleil, this show had only just begun the season, before moving on to other parts of Canada and the US. As one would expect the show was fantastic, with all the audience giving a standing ovation at the end. (My owner needed to stretch his legs).
