I was a special gift to my owner, on Valentines Day 1996 from someone very special. We are embarking on a bit of travel, so you will be able to follow our adventures and tales, as I keep this sort of diary for my owner. You could say this is my version of Chaucer's Canterbury Tales. Something to keep you amused while we are on our journey. Please add comments, we like to hear back from you.

Paris, Day 1

Saturday, June 9, 2007,
Bonjour mon ami. We didnt get moving until a bit late this morning. So our first stop was the Metro Station to get a Daily travel ticket, and then headed to the Tourist Information Office. Stopping on the way for breakfast, croissants and coffee. At the Tourist Information we picked up a Paris Museum Pass, which will get us into most of the Museums and Gallereies that my owner wants to visit. Then it was only a short walk up the road to the Paris Opera building. We then started walking towards the river, passing by Chanel (pressies). Once we Rue de Rivoli, we walked through Jardin des Tuleries, towards Musee du Louvre. After a short visit to the Louvre , we headed to Musee National d'Art Moderne, Centre Culturel Pompidou. Yes another art gallery, but my owner enjoyed the photogrqphic works by Diane Arbus, Brassai, Man Ray and Nagy. Art works by Miro, Kadinsky, Picasso, Matisse and Max Ernst were on dislay. Outside in the courtyard several performers entertained the crowds of people.
Later in the evening we went to Arc de Triomphe, as you can see the view across to the tower was just great, except the climb up the stairs was a bit wearing on my owner. Anyway the security guard had a big smile on his face and a laugh when he opened my owners back pack and saw me there.
